This 20 metre motor sailing schooner is specifically setup for dive and snorkel trips. The crew will show you the exotic wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, they provide a totally relaxed and informal atmosphere with their friendly personalised service. Carrying a maximum of 16 passengers ensures a great experieince without the crowds. Departing Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, we arrive at the Outer Reefs (Thetford or Moore Reefs) for up to 4 different snorkeling and dive sites. These reefs the best due to their still amazing coral coverage and fish life. Visibility ranges from 10m to over 30m dependent on weather and tides, with maximum depths of 25m.

This is a comfortable sailboat, well suited for the adventurous. It is by no means a luxury dive boat; but we pride ourselves for being the "best value overnight trip" from Cairns, suitable for the budget minded travelers and backpackers. The vessel has bunk style beds, an interior saloon area, galley and upper decks. There is hot water showers and toilets onboard.

Certified Divers includes 6 dives during the 2 days/1 night sailing trip onboard. Certified divers have the option to follow the Dive Leader or explore the reef on their own with their dive buddy. Snorkelers have unlimited snorkelling including all equipment . Introductory Dives available for purchase onboard for those that would like to try diving for the first time (medical conditions apply) - or can be prebooked on the "intro dive special" for better value.

The trip style delivers a relaxed and casual atmosphere, with our friendly crew offering personalised service on this overnight reef and sailing adventure. Come and spend the night with us at the Great Barrier Reef.

Check in: Onboard Rum Runner, 7.00am E Finger, Marlin Marina Depart Cairns: 7.30am

Return Cairns: 3pm to 3.30pm (the following day)
