Open Water Course:
Our five-day PADI Open Water course is the most popular way to combine the adventure of learning to dive with the excitement of exploring the spectacular beauty of The Great Barrier Reef. The adventure of staying out on the reef for 3 days and 2 nights is quite unique as you will have more time to snorkel, relax and really enjoy the reef. With warm water, minimal current and great visibility year-round, The Great Barrier Reef is the best place on Earth to learn how to dive. Your course starts with 2 days of pool and theory in a 5-star training facility followed by 3 days and 2 nights at the Great Barrier Reef.
Referral Course:
The PADI referral system allows you to split your "Learn to Dive" course so you can complete pool and theory work elsewhere and then finish your open water training dives and certification on our 3 day/2 night liveaboard dive trip.
PADI Advanced Course:
This course is for those who already have gained their PADI Open Water Certification and wish to further their skills and dive knowledge. The PADI Advanced course is the popular first step in continuing your dive education. It is designed to expand your diving skills and knowledge and to give the inexperienced diver added confidence in their diving. Pre-requisite for this course is a PADI Open water certificate or the equivalent certification with another training agency.
PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Course:
This course is for those who already have gained their PADI Open Water Certification and wish to complete a training course so they can use Nitrox. Enriched Air (Nitrox) is a nitrogen/oxygen mix that has a greater percentage of oxygen and a lesser percentage of nitrogen which means safer diving and potentially longer bottom times due to reduced nitrogen absorption. Enriched Air diving is ideal when doing multiple dives over multiple days like our 3 day/2 night trip.
Rescue Diver:
Our PADI Rescue Diver course takes 4 days and is conducted in conjunction with our 3 day / 2 night dive trip. The course consists of 1 day of pool and classroom training at our dive centre, followed by a 3 day / 2 night liveaboard trip. The Rescue Diver course is a crucial step in your diving education and is highly recommended to all divers. It's a transitional stage in your diving education where you move beyond just diving for fun by expanding your knowledge of some of the more technical aspects of diving as well as learning rescue and emergency skills. Pre-requisite for this course is a PADI Advanced Open Water certificate or the equivalent rating with another training agency. You will also require a current First Aid certificate.
