5 star PADI Training Centre, offering PADI Open Water  PADI Advanced and Professional Courses.  Our training centre has classrooms and Cairns only fully covered and heated pool which was purpose built for safe diver training practices. Choose your Learn-to-dive course duration; 4, 5 or 6 days! Liveaboard options offer a range of accommodation onboard to choose - quad share, twin room with ensuite, or double room with ensuite.

Referral Courses – Day boat or Liveaboard

The PADI referral system allows you to split your "Learn to Dive" course so you can complete pool and theory work elsewhere and then finish your open water training dives on our day or liveaboard vessel.

4 Day Budget PADI Open Water Dive Course - Day boat x 2

This course consists of 2 days of pool and theory training, days 3 and 4 are spent on the day boat to complete your Open Water Training dives. Over these two separate reef day trips you will get to do a total of 5 dives (4 training dives and 1 fun dive) and lunch is included on board the boat.

4 Day PADI Open Water Dive Course - Liveaboard 1 night

This course consists of 2 days pool and theory training - days 3 and 4 are spent onboard the liveaboard vessel to complete your Open Water Training dives. Meals and accommodation are included whilst onboard. You will get to do a total of 5 dives (4 training dives and 1 fun dive).

5 Day PADI Open Water Dive Course - Liveaboard 2 nights

The 5 Day Liveaboard option is by far the most popular learn to dive option. Not only are you certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, but you also get FIVE additional 'Fun Dives', including a guided night dive! This course consists of 2 days pool and theory training. Days 3, 4 and 5 are spent onboard the liveaboard vessel to complete your Open Water training dives. You will get to do a total of 9 dives (4 training dives and 5 fun dives including a night dive).

6 Day PADI Open Water+ Advanced Liveaboard 3nights

The 5 Day Liveaboard option is by far the most popular learn to dive option. Not only are you certified as a PADI Open Water plus Advanced  including a guided night dives! This course consists of 2 days pool and theory training. Days 3, 4 and 5 are spent onboard the liveaboard vessel to complete your Open Water and Advanced Course.

PADI Advanced Dive Course – Liveaboard 1 night

Our PADI Advanced Course increases you dive skills and knowledge and includes 5 training dives and 2 fun dives during your 2 days/1 night trip. No Classroom or exams necessary!  You also have the option to do this to over a 3 day/2 night trip. This includes 5 training dives and 6 fun dives (total of 11 dives).

4 Day PADI Rescue Diver Course - Liveaboard 1 night

Up to this point your diver training has focused on preventing problems and handling problems you might experience yourself. The next stage is broadening your perspective and considering the needs of other divers - that's what the PADI Rescue Diver course is all about. As a PADI Rescue Diver you'll learn to prevent and manage problems, sharpen your observation skills and help others avoid problems.  This course consists of 2 days pool and theory. Days 3 and 4 are spent onboard the liveaboard vessel where you will complete a total of 5 dives. You also have the option to upgrade your reef trip to 3 days/2 nights - please enquire for price.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DIVERS: Dive medical (AS4005.1) are required only for those with an at risk medical condition, or over 45 years of age, or those with a BMI (Body Mass Index) over 30 and a waist circumference greater than 102 cm for males and 88 cm for females. The cost for a dive medical is approximately $150 pp if required. Please contact us for more information if you have any medical concerns, medical conditions or are taking any form of medications.

Refunds subject to a 20% service fee on all cancellations 48 hours or more prior to reserved travel date. 100% cancellation fee within 48 hours prior to reserved travel date without notice; including factors beyond your/our control i.e. medical problems, airline delays bad weather, etc. "Competition and Consumer Act 2010". Travel insurance highly recommended. Divers Den reserves the right to change vessel, dive locations and prices without notice.
