You will spend two days at their training centre completing your theory component and pool training dives. On the last two days you will do two separate day trips on-board Evolution to complete the 2 open water training dives each day, therefore a total of 4 training dives. 5 Day Open Water Dive Courses and PADI Advanced Courses are also available. Day trips only
Open Water Dive Course - 4 Days - Courses Commence every Friday
This course consists of 2 days pool and theory at Down Under Dive's training centre. Day 3 and 4 are two separate day trips to the Great Barrier Reef to complete your 4 training dives. Lunch is included on the boat.

PADI Advanced Dive Course - 2 Days
One reason you'll love the Advanced Open Water Diver course is that you and your instructor choose from many types of Adventure Dives to complete your course. You can try your hand at digital underwater photography, peak performance buoyancy, Fish Identification, deep diving, underwater navigation and much more.
You will get to do 5 training dives and 1 fun dive over 2 separate day trips to the Outer Barrier Reef. BBQ Lunch is included on the boat.

Dive medical (AS4005.1) are required only for those with an at risk medical condition, or over 45 years of age, or those with a BMI (Body Mass Index) over 30 and a waist circumference greater than 102 cm for males and 88 cm for females. The cost for a dive medical is approximately $60 pp if required. Please contact us for more information if you have any medical concerns, medical conditions or are taking any form of medications.
