Spirit of Cairns - Dinner Cruise

Before sunset as the day begins to cool, you walk out along the magnificent Cairns Marlin Jetty, marvelling at all the reef day trip boats that have returned from a great day out. As day passengers walk by, you are walking out to start a wonderful evening on board the only sunset dinner cruise in Cairns. As you approach the multi million dollar catamaran you will notice the sails raised and lit in gorgeous evening colours enhanced by the sunset.

Friendly staff are waiting to greet you at the boarding entrance and again on board. Once on board you will be greeted with a choice of sparking white wine, red wine, local beer, or a soft drink. Whilst sipping and chatting the sun begins to set and great photo opportunities abound. Have the city scape and mountains, or harbour restaurants, or even the harbour yachts as backdrops in your photos to send to family and friends.

As dusk falls we head inside to be seated. With a lovely central dance floor you can choose to dance before or after dinner. You won't even notice the boat moving until you see the night lights of the harbour moving by outside the windows.

Inside our air-conditioned dining room, enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner featuring a wide range of hot and cold dishes, fresh seafood and delicious local produce.  The bar is well stocked with local beer, wine and soft drinks plus tea, coffee and cappuccino available.

After dinner relax upstairs on the rear viewing deck to view the city lights and chat with the captain.

Fellow passengers on this trip are very relaxed and always willing to chat with people they don't know, this is the ambience of the cruise.

What to Bring

Tropical cocktail attire is suggested, with a jacket for the winter months. Footwear is mandatory and suitable shoes for boating is recommended. Cash, eftpos or credit cards are accepted for bar purchases. Don't forget to bring your camera!
