Inclusive of the Kuranda Scenic Railway, Skyrail Gondola Cableway, some free time in the village to visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and then transferred to Rainforestation to watch the local indigenous Pamagirri dance troupe perform, Army Duck tour and visit the Koalas and kangaroos. You will need to commit a full day to this package which will start at approximately 0800 and finish at 1730.
The day in summary:
- Pick up from accommodation
- Take the Kuranda Scenic Railway to Kuranda the village in the rainforest
- Spend a little time looking around the markets
- Visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary to hopefully take a photo of one that has landed on you
- Be picked up from the village to be taken a short distance to Rainforestation
- Watch the indigenous Pamagirri dancers perform tranditional style dances
- See a real Koala and other Australian native animals
- Experience the thrill of an amphibious vehicle (goes on the land and in the water)
- Buffet lunch
- Transfer back to the village to board the Skyrail cableway to experience seeing the rainforest from an aerial view
- At the base of the Skyrail you will be picked up to be transferred back to your accommodation
