Kuranda Train & Skyrail
The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway experience spans 7.5kms over pristine tropical rainforests. You will glide just metres above the rainforest canopy before descending through the canopy layers and deep into the heart of the forest at two rainforest mid-stations for the ultimate tropical rainforest experience. A Skyrail Experience will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes one way including time at the two mid-stations.
The Kuranda Scenic Train is a 1 hour and 45 minute historic journey through the mountain rainforest with a short stop at the Barron Falls. There are only two departures from Cairns Central and Freshwater Station in the morning travelling to Kuranda, and two departures from Kuranda back to Cairns Central and Freshwater Station in the afternoon. The combinations of train and skyrail packages are endless.
