Fitzroy Island is a 45 minute ferry ride (about 30kms) from Cairns in Queensland, and is surrounded by a reef system that forms part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, making it the perfect accessible base for snorkelling, and exploring the reef. Idyllic white sandy beaches lead into the safe, sheltered waters, which are also ideal for swimming.

Ocean Suite 1 Bedroom
These luxuriously appointed one-bedroom suites include: generous balcony, some rooms with ocean view, Kitchenette consisting of basic cooking facilities - microwave, toaster and full sized fridge, tea and coffee facilities, queen size bed, plasma TV, lounge and dining area, ensuite black marble tiled bathroom. Sleeps up to four guests (extra 2 persons can sleep on a sofa bed).  (Only some of these rooms have ocean views).

Ocean Suite 2 Bedroom
This room type Is a combination of a 1x Bedroom Ocean Suite and a Resort Studio room adjacent to each other connected through a common walkway. PLEASE NOTE - not all rooms are interconnecting and consequently are not suitable for small unsupervised children.

Beach Cabin

Boasting beautiful views across Welcome Bay, the Beach Cabin offers a queen bed and separate twin bedroom. Be quick they book out fast!  Generous balcony and beautiful views across Welcome Bay, plasma TV, tea and coffee facilities.  The Beach Cabins are located right on the beach; walk directly from the front balcony to the Beach. Air-conditioned with ceiling fans, Queen size bed and separate bedroom with twin beds. The Cabins are ideal for a romantic getaway or a family with small children.  Sleeps up to 4 guests.
